In Case You Missed It: Penny Wars

At North View Middle School, we believe that genuine community involvement is a fundamental component of successful schools for young adolescents. We also believe that schools should seek appropriate partnerships with businesses, social service agencies, and other organizations whose purposes are consistent with the school’s mission.

Because of this belief, our school partnered with the H2O for Life  this year to engage in a whole school  service learning project called “Penny Wars”. Students participated in an advisory competition to raise money to support a public school located in Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. If you would like to help us in supporting this great cause please click here.

Congratulations to Ms. Eldridge’s advisory for the largest Penny War total. Ms. Eldridge’s advisory will get $25 toward a treat of their choosing!
