At North View Middle School we believe that recognizing our school community members for their accomplishments is key to building a school community that fosters a shared commitment to high expectations for student achievement, high standards of teaching and learning, and a culturally competent environment where diversity is valued.
Whether it is a teacher who is honored was nominated for the VFW teacher of the year award for her ability to help students collaborate and engage in learning, conversation, and reflection about the role of equity in relation to American History, civic responsibility, and patriotism.
Or a student who was recognized by the district for their “Significant Investment in Their Own Learning” honor. As his principal I have watched this young man develop both academically and personally into a mature individual epitomizing the characteristics that the North View Middle School community believes are essential for success in school and in life.
Or Mrs. Hill who has been with North View for over forty years and was recently recognized for the district’s “Significant Investment in the Betterment of Education” honor. Mrs. Hill has been with North View for over forty years. First as a teacher, and currently as an Educational Support Professional and has positively impacted many lives at North View as a result.
In addition to honoring individuals we also take great pride in honoring groups of students who contributed to the school community. Pictured below are students who were recently recognized for the academic achievement by earning a spot on the A and B honor roll.
Please help me in congratulating them!
